Health Educator
Yeni is a Caribbean Latina, cross cultural community organizer, and immensely committed to empowering communities. Yeni attended the University of Louisville and received a B.A. in Latin American/Latino Studies with a minor in Middle Eastern/Islamic Studies. Yeni is fluent in English, Spanish and speaks conversational Arabic. Yeni brings her vast experience in cross cultural community organization and a wide variety of social cause activism. Yeni’s strengths are in curriculum design, intercultural communication and exchange, strategic planning, public speaking, grassroots fundraising, direct actions, workshop facilitation, and learning languages. In her free time Yeni enjoys hanging out with her friends at coffee shops, traveling, hiking, and reading.
