This school year, students across Central Indiana will be introduced to three new Social Health instructors! Johnathan Rick, Mary Margaret Sweeney, MSW, and Tammi Broadus have joined SHA as health educators. Learn more about the talented individuals joining the SHA ranks.
Johnathan Rick, Human Growth and Development
After completing his Bachelor of Science in Management from Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis with an educational focus in public sectors and not-for-profit organizations, Johnathan joined Social Health’s growing team of educators. He previously served as President of the Gamers Guild at IUPUI and has more than nine years of exemplary customer service and sales experience under his belt.
Mary-Margaret Sweeney, MSW, Teen Pregnancy Prevention
A veteran of technology start-ups, Mary-Margaret joins the Social Health team as a teen pregnancy prevention educator, a role in which she already has experience. Mary-Margaret worked with refugees in Chicago and Indianapolis for three years, and also worked as a freelance writer for five years. She earned her Masters of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago.
Tammi Broadus, Bullying Prevention
Before joining Social Health this summer, Tammi served as a special education instructional assistant in several states, and was a trained program facilitator for Girls, Inc. In addition to teaching bullying prevention with Social Health, Tammi is also working toward earning her Masters of Social Work from Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis.
