Health Educator

Kathy has often said that teaching isn’t what she does, it’s who she is.  Kathy has always been a teacher. She holds a degree in secondary education from Ball State and enjoyed 24 years as a health educator and technology coordinator for The Ruth Lilly Health Education Center.  She is excited to now bring her expertise to LifeSmart Youth, continuing her passion empowering youth across Indiana to live safe and healthy lives.  Kathy’s extensive knowledge in areas of health, psychology, and science make her a powerful asset to LifeSmart Youth’s Educator Team.  As Kathy says, “Our power of choice is our greatest power in achieving and maintaining health.”
