SHA Board and Staff Update

Alex Fritz, CPA/ABV, ASA, CVA, SHA Board

As the incoming Social Health Association Board President, Alex is passionate about SHA, because he believes the education we provide is meaningful and impactful and influences Indiana youth in making positive, healthy choices. Originally from Naperville, Illinois, Alex graduated from Indiana University and is currently a Partner at Blue & Co. in the position of Director of Valuation and Healthcare Strategy Group/Valuation and Forensic Services. He and his wife Tiffany have three boys, a labradoodle, and two leopard geckos. The family enjoys sports at Grand Park, visiting the Zoo, attending Indy 11 games, and going on bike rides.

 

Jessica Moore, MA, SHA Board

Jessica, our Social Health Association Board Secretary, spends her days as Immigrant Program Specialist at the Indianapolis Public Library. As such, she is passionate about using her experience and knowledge to help SHA better connect services to immigrant and refugee communities in Indianapolis. Jessica and her husband have two children and enjoy traveling, reading, and catching up on their favorite TV shows. Jessica is also an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and serves on the Board of League of Women Voters – Indianapolis Chapter.

 

Maria Cheeseman, BS, Manager of Scheduling & Client Relations

Maria graduated from Indiana University with a BS in Public Affairs Management, a concentration in Nonprofit Management, and a French minor. She has applied her diverse skill set to non-profit work, youth health and education, and the staffing industry. Prior to joining Social Health Association in July 2017, Maria’s passion for youth led her to serve with AmeriCorps Public Allies of Indianapolis at the Indiana Youth Group as a Case Manager and Youth Resource Coordinator. She also serves as a member of the Indianapolis Symphonic Orchestra Association. Maria enjoys going to baseball games and hanging out with her cat Negan in her free time.

Olivia Martinez, BS, Adolescent Health Educator

Olivia recently joined Social Health Association in 2017 as a full-time health educator and has a background working in various public health settings. Olivia has her Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, as well as a minor in Counseling. She is also a returned Peace Corps Volunteer, where she taught sexual health in schools in the Dominican Republic. Her passions are teaching about reproductive health and HIV education and prevention. Olivia and her husband have three cats and a dog.
